At 41 Sam decided it was time for a career shift so he hopped up on stage to perform in front of a live audience for the first time in his life. Not deterred by the competitive industry he stuck true to his roots of honest, clean fun. This is what makes Sam a great comedian for a range of events.
Sam keeps the humor appropriate for all his audiences, whether that be headlining a night in a comedy club or performing at a corporate event. Sam is not limited to certain venues but thrives in corporate and family settings. In his short-lived career, Sam has already managed to snag winner at the Great American Comedy Festival in 2009. In addition, this genre-jumping comedian has shared the stage with both touring comedians and musicians ranging from comedians such as Frank Caliendo, Phil Palisoul and Mike Epps to musicians including the one and only Rick Springfield, The Spinners, The Guess Who and David Sanborn.
Sam draws on his 20+ years of experience as a sports journalist, where he covered championships such as four Super Bowls, two Olympics, two NCAA men’s basketball Final Four, one Stanley Cup Finals and one World Series. As a result of his raw talent and hard work Sam was awarded the ‘Print Journalist of the Year’ in 2003 from the Colorado Association of Black Journalists.

Perhaps best known as the comedian who puts the cerebral in Cerebral Palsy, Josh Blue exploded onto the national comedy scene as the winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
